Meanwhile, the fight against the hunger in the world is not in our hands but, nevertheless we cannot stay in front of 24000 dead people per day.

In numerous countries there is urgency (38 of 53 African countries have to import food to be able To fill up their food structural deficit and in front of the blaze of the prices they couldn’t buy the necessary. We, pupils of the French lyceum of Bilbao, have decided to mobilize and to act for the participation in the race against the hunger in which 12 edition will take place on May 16, 2008. Last year we already took part in this race, which allowed us to colect 9000 Euros, that were sent to the Burundi.
This year we have decided to reach at least to 15000 Euros and we have to find up the way.

Among the ideas to developing.

Participation massive of companions.
Make take part to other establishments (for example d'eco young’s parliament.) To transform the race into a real party.
To avoid the wasting and to propose this day as the day of sustainable development.

But first of all, to better understand this serious problem and to be capable of telling it to the others and at the same time to motivate them to take part with us or, to help us financially, it is important and indispensable to make a dossier of sensitisation.

Wide program and of course, the time urges as always.

Very soon a meeting will take place between the direction of our establishment and the tutors. During this meeting I am going to propose the creation of a commission of pupils, because I think that this initiative has to be transformed into a " young action" for which you will be transform to consider our help and support.
